Propellr Launches real estate crowdfunding game

Are you an investor who is looking for projects to fund? Crowdfunding is one option you would want to consider because its popularity continues to increase with each passing day.

In case you don’t know, crowdfunding is when a group of investors decides to pull their money in order to finance a project. The project can be anything from real estate to motion pictures to political campaigns to startups.  There are many online crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstater, Indiegogo, and Peerbackers, among others.

However, crowdfunding is relatively new to the world of real estate, so there aren’t many crowdfunding platforms that encourage real estate project funding. Part of the reason could be because no specific laws governing crowdfunding in real estate have been made yet.

However, Obama signed the JOBS ACT 2012, which lifted certain restrictions on how entrepreneurs, including real estate investors can raise money.

If you are a real estate investor, there is an amazing investment opportunity that has come up which you could take advantage of. Aristone Realty Capital LLC has launched an online real estate crowdfunding platform called Propellr. The platform, which is being run by Todd Lippiatt, the managing principal at Aristone Reality Capital, will start with four structured financing offering worth $6 million in real estate investment.

Investors are being promised 10% returns and middle men will be dispensed with because all deals will be sourced directly. The minimum investment has been set at $25,000 and individual investors are also welcomed. But Propellr also plans to expand its investment portfolio into alternative investments, but mainly asset investments.
